The Nova Slider is used to display images that span the entire width of the browser window at the top of a page as well as an optional text box and button overlaying that image.
Adding and Editing the Nova Slider
- Navigate to the page where you’d like to add the slider.
- At the top of the dashboard, click Edit Page.
- Click on the Sliders tab in the page builder.
- Select the Nova Slider page builder block and drag it to the heading page builder space (the upper gray area).
- Hover over the Nova Slider page builder block. A pencil icon will appear.
- Click on the pencil icon to edit the block.
- Scroll down to the Slides.
- Select the tab for the slide you’d like to change.
- Add a Title for the info box.
- Add any descriptor content.
- Under Title in the Button for this slide section, add the call to action text for the button.
- Under URL, add the URL that the user will visit upon clicking the button.
- Click Add Media.
- Select an existing image or upload a new image. (Note: Make sure that the image is at minimum 1440×360 px.)
- Make sure that the Alt Text and Description are filled with a short explanation of what appears in the image.
- Select Link To None.
- Select Size – Full Size.
- Click Add Media.
- Repeat steps 12-16 until all images are added.
- Click Save.
- Click Update to save the changes to the page.
